STRASBOURG (Reuters) – European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said on Tuesday there was not enough progress in Britain’s talks on leaving the European Union for the bloc to launch negotiations on post-Brexit ties with London.

“Until now, I can’t say that we are ready to enter the second phase of the negotiations,” Juncker told the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
